Achieving Value with the SayIt Administrator Console

The SayIt Administrator Console is an incredible way to add value to a SayIt deployment. Not only can the administrator centrally manage and configure accounts, but this powerful tool supports adoption, voice recognition accuracy, consistency and quality of notes, and knowledge transfer across the organization.

First, the Administrator Console is where either the IT staff or a SayIt certified partner set up and change user account details. The customer may choose to have several organizations under one SayIt account, or different groups with different vocabulary and shared shortcuts. For example, the Shipping group may need different acronyms than the Billing group. Because SayIt is sold on a subscription basis, if a user leaves the company or workgroup, or doesn’t use SayIt enough to be worthwhile, that account can easily be transferred to a different user, stabilizing licensing costs and reducing adoption risk.

Another benefit of this system is the ability to centrally configure Profile Building Samples. This is the text that users read out loud when they are setting up their account for the first time. This helps increase the accuracy of voice recognition right away.
Organizational Shortcuts are also centrally managed in SayIt. These can be categorized into meaningful directories, and are available to all users in the selected organization level. Account Shortcuts can be configured in SayIt by the SayIt user OR in SayIt Administrator, and are available to the specific SayIt user only. Both can be viewed, managed, and monitored in SayIt Administrator, so they can be shared among users in any appropriate group, improving consistency and the level of detail of notes and documentation.

Monitoring users from the Administrative Console is easy. This can help users be successful, increasing adoption as well as accuracy. A key monitoring tool is Review and Correct, which lets the supervisor see the original transcription and listen to the recording of the voice input, then make corrections if needed. This feature also makes visible the shortcuts that are being used, so the supervisor can suggest additional shortcuts or correct spelling, grammar or punctuation errors of which the user may be unaware.

There are extensive reports available in the Console, and they are easily customized to present the data in ways meaningful to the specific organization. Reports also provide information about adoption – if users are using the service in daily workflow, and if not, where they might be getting stuck. Finally, the reports help supervisors be proactive and find problems before the user gets discouraged.

Using the SayIt Administrative Console is straightforward and intuitive, and makes it much easier to reach adoption and usage objectives. For more information, see the Help feature or visit the Learning Center at https://learning.nvoq.com.
